For someone who:
- is a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
- is a BC Grade 12 graduate planning to attend a BC post-secondary institution
- has taken a minimum of one English Language Learner (ELL) course in Grades 9–12
- has documented school or community service
TCF Refugee Awards – $4,000
For someone who:
- entered Canada as a refugee
- completed Grade 12 at a secondary school in British Columbia or completed a high-school equivalency (e.g., GED)
- studied English language learning (EL) in British Columbia or elsewhere in Canada
- plans to study in a vocational or academic program at a BC post-secondary institution
- has documented school and/or community volunteer service
Jennifer Pearson Terell Refugee Award for Continued Studies – $4,000
For someone who:
- entered Canada as a refugee
- previously received a TEAL Charitable Foundation Refugee Award
- is currently enrolled in and continuing a vocational or academic program at a BC post-secondary institution
- is making satisfactory academic progress
- demonstrates commitment to continued studies through references, a short essay, and a transcript
